In a word...   quirky.   Both song and arrangement.

For some reason it reminds me a little of Squeeze.

I dig it. This might just be my favorite song I've heard on any forum.  I wish I could do stuff like this.  This just puts a huge smile on my face.  I'm going to bookmark your SC page so I can listen to the rest.

Hello Mr. Peter Laramee, I'm happy that you liked the toast song.  You will always have a place in my heart because you are the first, and only, person to bookmark my sound click page.  I don't even have it bookmarked, but I will now since you gave me the idea. I only have five songs up on sound click, but hope to post a song every couple of weeks.

When my work schedule slows down a little I will spend some time listening to your music so I can learn more about your style.

Have a great life

Jesse

I'm getting a David Bowie vibe over here. Unplugged David Bowie. Yet original. Like it. Maybe Harry Nilsson, too.
Certainly is your own lane, bravo!

I'd be tempted to thicken up the vocal in spots. Sometimes I use something like Microshift by Sound Toys for this purpose, but fair warning, only a little dab'll do ya.

Can't wait for the song about how she squeezes the orange juice!

cheers,
-Tom

Hello Mr. E-Soul, you made me laugh when you talked about a "squeezes the orange juice" song!

I'm not familiar with Microshift by Soundtoys.  I will have to look that one up.  Is there anything already bundled with Sonar that might be similar?

Thanks for the suggestion, I am always looking for input on improving a mix.
