I have the beta here, and am very disappointed the anti-gravity module for live performance doesn't work. It's spec'ed as being able to lift a performer six feet into the air, but I haven't been able to get over 2-3 feet. I'm so upset I'm going to do the right thing and threaten to switch DAWs.

Have you been eating one of those "Colorado Cakes"?

I read somewhere that Nuendo will get you 20-40% more levitation than Sonar.

I'm with you... 6 feet is necessary in either direction to get the full effect!

But my feet are already a foot off the ground on a normal day, so I've got a little help! ;-)

We had to gate the max height to about 3 feet to avoid injury. Some beta testers reported injuries if SONAR dropped out while they were high :)

Unless of course they're tuned in, then the dropout becomes a turn on! ;-)

It's worth it for the extra headroom

Is that Max Headroom?

If so i hope all bug's are found

It's software, all bugs will never be fixed because all bugs that could exist have not yet been found. But after a while there's point of diminishing returns, where you don't keep a development team around just because someone using X computer bought in late 2014 with a Y graphics card bought in early 2016 and who also has software W and Q loaded on their computer experiences a problem when using a gaming mouse if running sound through a public domain generic ASIO driver. I think the most one can expect with any software is that features work as advertised and there are no showstoppers, or if there are, there's a workaround (e.g., not use a gaming mouse, or use drivers designed specifically for the audio interface you're using).

Nothing in life is perfect, but the fix list for X3e is pretty impressive...it shows the bakers have been really paying attention to what's been quantified by the users. In many ways, these rapid-fire updates aren't Cakewalk just shooting out fixes, but the result of something that's more like a partnership between Cakewalk and the user base.
