Splashtop sets up almost effortlessly, incredibly easy, and seems to work well, but it appears to to made for tablets - since it captures the full screen of your DAW, the image is too small to be useful on an average-sized phone (I couldn't get the screen to resize on my phone) so for example, it's almost useless on my iPhone 4s.
I addition to the screen size, this is another app that requires an Internet connection and doesn't work unless it is allowed to contact it's home base, so again there is the question of privacy/security.
