I saw a post from an IK guy on another forum that said we're pretty close to getting a 3rd freebie in this group buy.  Unreal.

The full "Metal" package is included in Amplitube 3 already. Just in case some people didn't know that. I highly recommend the Ampeg collection too.

Ahhh awesome! Then I'll go for the Ampeg collection instead of the Metal and also the Fender Amp when I get my iRig HD in :)

I Doubley checked and you are right!  Here an excerpt from the AT3 info page...

Just curious, I read the Ampegs are bass amps, do you use them with guitars?

I suppose if you don't have a bass guitar you can run midi track through to SI-Bass Guitar Virtual instrument and add the Ampegs in the audio track of the SI Bass FX bin....

Then again you could use melodyne on your guitar track audio played to bass rhythms to change octave and add the Ampegs to its FX maybe???

No. I use them for bass only. I use the Fender amps for guitar pretty much every time. The Fender collection is as close as you will get to the real thing IMO.

Thanks Clint.  So as of now the Slash collection is the last one for me if 36 more people go for the deal.

I still must buy the Princeton, and there are a couple of fx I want so IK will still be able to enjoy my birthday.  But not as much as I will...

Man, I wish I didn't get such lust for these things. I already have TH2, GR5, Waves GTR3, and most recently Scuffham S-Gear 2 (which I like the most, soundwise) and the Redwirez BigBox IRs.

Someone please tell me that covers my bases on the ampsim front.
