A "Pops and Crackles" resource would be nice.

Great. For a moment I flattered myself on having taken the intiative in my post four days ago...

... but then condemned my selfishness and went back to work.

Thank you anyway.

Your post was indeed part of the impetus for this initiative. So feel free to flatter yourself.

Hmmm...the absence of any smileys gives me the unnerving feeling that you may not be joking. But that couldn't possibly be...could it? No of course not. Where is my sense of humor...(or is it humour)?

HI,

New to forum old to Sonar. I'm currently running Sonar 7 PE. when I instaled for the first time my Sonar shortcuts and project icons did not work. I updated to 7.0.1. and every thing was fine. Now i recently updated to the latest patch but the same problem ocurrs and now my pc says i don't have avalid version of sonar so i can't instal the update.
Has this happened to anyone??? My computer is running fine. I'm even re-installing my Norton Anti-virus to be sure. Any help would be apreciated.

Yes, exactly.

Perhaps adding a direct link to one of the MP3-encoding setup tutorials (and explanations about the costs/licensing/etc) would be a good add to this sticky's list? I recall a fair amount of (usually passionate) discussion, perhaps that would save some wear and tear on the poor electrons.... :P

I'd subsume the "How to Contact Cakewalk directly", TOS, and update info into one stickie.
Strictly informational.
I wonder whether combining these threads might result in having to access threads unnecessarily - for example, I am keenly interested in updates, but only interested in "how to contact" when I have a specific need to contact someone. If the threads are combined, any refresh of the combined thread would have me rushing to see if S7.2 has just been released, and I will be disappointed if the refresh is only to give us a new link to contact tech support.
