My friend and band mate Roy wrote this song and did all the vocals on it. Our other friend and former band mate came over last night and played drums on the song after I had added all of the instrument tracks. I hope you like it.

What an absoflippinlutely lovely number.  It not only has great performances (instrumentation, and vocals) but the lyrics are especially relevant in today's world!

Excellent number!

Hello Freddy and thank you for your comments. Roy had just been fired from his job of nearly 30 years and it inspired him to write this song. I enjoyed producing this song for him. He is a joy to work with in the studio.

Like it esp the guitar part. It kind of keeps elevating the song all along. Good work !!

Really nice strong Boston-style vibe at the start, love the acoustic sounds there. Great guitar work and fantastic guitar tone, with great vocals and a really nice, almost loving vocal treatment.  I personally would have mixed the break with a little more aggression, but that's a style choice and doesn't take away from a really good mix.

Great tune!

My immediate first thought was, wow, what great sounding guitars. Vocal sits right in the pocket, very nice.

Cymbals are a little crispy in spots, but overall, this is lovely!

Dan

Very cool song well performed.
Rein in the cymbals - they definitely jump out of the mix a little too much other than that sounds great.

Kevin,
Thank you very much for your insight. I'm trying to keep a smooth flowing break that will flow and transition well with the rest of the song but I think I know what you mean in regards to that. I just might play with that idea and see what happens.
