I would like to be able to use sonar for high quality video, but Windows 10 doesn't come with decent codecs (nor does sonar).

Can I get suggestions for what to buy so it will work well again?

Btw, I will not trust free codec packs. I have had to many virus problems related to them in the past.

Which codecs are you looking for exactly? I just use Media Player Classic's package and it works for pretty much everything I've run into.

All the video codecs listed in sonar.

Is it possible I need to install the 32 bit version? Nope

I tried installing Media Player Classic, but it did not help me. I did notice it's a 32 bit app though. That put me onto the possible problem.

So, I tried installing the 32 bit version of Sonar and I'm still missing both Audio and Video codecs. Like, I'm missing Flac.

I could be wrong, but wouldn't you just want to use Sonar for mixing the audio and lining it up with video? I feel like you would want to then export the audio from Sonar, import that audio into your video editing software and then render the audio and video together.

I've always rendered them together from inside sonar. I don't actually own video editing software. Do you have recommendations?

I'm somewhat impressed with how Reaper handles video

No affiliation with the Kenny that made the video other than I'm from NYC and I talk a lot like him
