Hi. first time I have posted.  Have always been able to figure out my problems but not this time.
 
Anyway, when I double click to open an effect that is loaded in the FX bin, the effect's window won't open.  Explained another way: The effect window doesn't pop up, when double clicking on the effect name in the FX bin.

Okay I solved my problem.   Thanks to anyone who took a look.
 
I am running dual monitors.  One of the monitors is in a vocal booth.  When double clicking the effect it was opening on the screen in the vocal booth.  Duh.

Maybe you need to set your second monitor to display the same as the main one rather than extending the desktop.
