PET PEEVE #1:  no horizontal lines in Vel component of Piano Roll View.

I NEED those horizontal lines, and velocity numbers that attach to them, in PIANO ROLL VIEW.   LOGIC has them.   FL Studio has them.  Why NOT Cakewalk!

Those horizontal lines in Vel View are SOOOOO useful.   They tell you at a glance the approximate velocity of one or more notes: lowest line runs across the Vel pane/view at 16; the next at 32; next 48; then 64, etc., etc....   Make them optional, if you like: but give them to me!!!

Can't be hard to program those useful lines into the velocity view of Piano Roll.

PET PEEVE #2:  Parabolic Velocity Slopes:

I NEED those parabolic vel slopes, as in LOGIC 9.   Can't be hard to program.   Why not Sonar?????

Why aren't these simple, but incredibly useful things, in Cake or Sonar????

Most likely the answer is, nobody has requested them. Or if they have it was such a small minority of users as to be put at the bottom of the features request list.
Sonar developers do listen to requests it would seem.
I believe that they will get 100's of minor change requests a year. Over time they do keep adding new features, and then this all leads to the software becoming bloated and un stable.

No where in the world of software of any kind will you ever find a program that is custom made just for you. If you say those other DAW's have this feature then why are you not using them, My guess is because then they are missing dozens of features you like that Sonar has.
And there's absolutely no point complaining here in a forum for the old version which is what it is and will slowly fade to dust.
There is a thread in the X forum for feature requests.

True.  Yet…. why would FL and Logic 9 incorporate these as if it's no big deal?   In fact, these things are a no-brainer.   Can't imagine providing them would be a copyright infringement!..??
