I concur as well and I'm sorry John's quote got altered. This has happened to me on several occasions and it can be an extremely frustrating experience for the person who got misquoted, I don't care how trivial people think this might be, it's certainly not humour (or good humour) IMHO.

I am completely outraged and deeply offended that others' words are being deliberately misquoted.
