When I have 32-bit plugins included in 64-bit Sonar, via folders in the search path of X3, they show up and are able to be inserted from the Synth Rack.

@Studio midisound, can you please post back with the information I requested earlier?

Thanks,

It is also entirely possible that some of the plugins loaded into the project are those meant for mixing/mastering, and not for tracking, and these could cause large latency increases.

To @Studio midisound - in addition to the other info I requested, please try a brand new project with only TTS-1 loaded and let us know if it records and plays back without problems - for the test please do not load any other plugins.

This is true but the synths above are all 32bit DXi which have nothing to do with the VST search paths. It was my understanding the 64bit hosts do not see 32bit DX plug-ins at all. I did not install the 32bit version of SONAR so I will have to defer to your experience.

WOW - I have my DODO hat on today.

Sorry - I was eating chicken and watching TV whilst creating my the post with the VST search path, which does not factor into this whatsoever.  Please ignore that post - in my defense, however, the chicken had crispy skin and was REALLY good.

Please do not defer to my anything, as my anything is mostly nothing at all.

Yeah - until the OP responds with more information, as has been requested a couple of times now, I will just have to let this one sit - I have not mastered reading other people's minds.

To delete te plug-in the program crashes.your questionnaires Bob: 1. I,m loading the regular plug-ins from sonar.
2:no. 3: you alreeds answert that one. 4:asio driver. 5: iT appears to be only the old plug-ins that come with sonar. For example 8.5.3 all my other third party plug-ins are working just fine
When I loading an project with already plug-ins inside the old directx plug-in shows up in the menu I van load iT but it won,t work and the project crashes.
When I loading à empty project with nothing in it Roland groove...psyn II and the TTS1 are working...the Pentagon does not. loading at all

I am able to see the DXI synths.  I have a 64 bit Win7 and X3D 64 bit.  The VST Scanner even parsed them out to a DirectX category. TTS, Cyclone, Pentagon, Roland Groove Synth and PSYN II all there.   IHTH..

Yes, the 64bit versions are visible in the 64bit host. I was talking about the 32bit versions showing up in 64bit SONAR which I do not believe is possible. I can see how my post may have mislead one into thinking the synths are 32bit only. The post should have read:
This is true but the synths above are all DXi...
instead of
