bitflipper...highlight the approximate region of the snare hit, then hold the ctl and shift keys down while dragging that snare hit down into the new track.
Oh, now that's just freaking cool! All these years I've been doing it the hard way by slicing, dragging it down, then nudging it back into line from where it came. Man, I'm learning stuff today.
