The mixer in Session Drummer allows easy and fast track assigning but I can't figure out how to do so with Addictive Drums (be gentle I'm new to X3 and AD) I am setting up synth properties: Midi Source, Track Folder, All Stereo Out. Im not using a keyboard and have no need to "map' to it. I simply want to assign Track One: Kick, Track Two: Snare and so on. What am I not doing correctly?

Make sure you select multiple outs or you will only get one out and you need more than one out to make every drum have its own track.

At the bottom of each kit piece/channel strip in AD is a down-arrow button pointing to the word "Out". Enabling that button sends the signal to the dedicated output channel that you see when choosing an output from AD as the input for an audio track. As CJay says, you can let SONAR create the tracks for you on inserting the synth, but you have to enable those buttons manually to enable the individual outputs in AD.

Note, also, that the signals will continue to route to AD's Master bus in parallel with the individual outs, so make sure you don't have a track getting input from AD's Master out if you're using the individual outs.

If AD is already in your synth rack then you need to create audio tracks in addition to clicking the down arrows as stated above.

Create and audio track. Set it's input to Addictive drums bass drum right mono. Then create additional audio tracks setting the inputs to the different kit pieces, overheads and room mics.

I don't think it's necessary to include the stereo inputs for the kit pieces nor the mono inputs for the overheads and room mics. So, Mono for each kit piece and stereo for the overheads and room mics.

I never found it necessary to add the mono tracks for the overhead and room mics as just the one stereo is fine. You have to go into the AD GUI and set all the panning though. You still have set the panning with the mono tracks anyway so I never thought it was necessary to use them.
