A real iLok, iLok? Wahta waste. Why trim your potential buyer pool with that?

UAD of course.  I love the demos I have heard.  I have taken a close look at valhalla,Phoenixverb and nimbus as these are within my range and exactly the kind of reverb I am looking for.  I did find the presets to be perfect.  The input filter in nimbus looks interesting. I often effectively do something similar.

In the video of Andy Bradfield talking about nimbus you can see all the hardware in the background probably for UAD emulations. I slapped a valhalla vintageverb early preset on a double of a vocal track and WOW. I think that might be an xmas present for me.

I guess UAD plate EMT 140 is killer indeed. But I'll stay on the fence until UAD-3. I will. I have to.

Their reverbs are reason enough to get into UAD. The Lexicon, EMT, AMS, AKG Spring, and Ocean Way plugins are all killer. They'll eat your wallet alive, so proceed with caution.

The newer Waves offerings like the Abbey Road plate and H-reverb are excellent, but also munch on your CPU.

One I haven't seen mentioned yet but worth trying is Acon Verberate. Excels at real-sounding spaces, and is relatively friendly to both your PC and your wallet.

Cheers,
Eddie
