Thanks Dave

However registry keys set right now are:
Multisamples Folder D:\Cakewalk Content\Dimension Pro\
Contents Folder D:\Cakewalk Content\Dimension Pro\

No dice.

Sorry, I was stuck in the moving multisamples folder again.
In my computer it looks like this:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cakewalk Music Software\dp\Contents folder
(that's "Contents" with an "s")

Value:
C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Dimension Pro

Could the missing "s" be the issue here?

Yup but my issue is to do with the Programs folder (multisamples folder works fine), thanks anyway.

Sorry Alex! I was still thinking about the multisamples issue. Edited post # 11.

Ah thanks, actually it was Contents Folder I corrected my typo on post #1. At least that made my issue clearer! Thanks...

So has anybody managed to move the PROGRAMS folder away from the default other than use symbolic links? From what I'm seeing its just MULTISAMPLES people have been talking about (I've done that).

Otherwise symbolic links is the way to go I guess (that's generally a last resort).

Thanks..

Can you do a search in the registry for the default Program location then edit it?? That's if it's even a registry entry and not hardcoded in some way.

Yup I did that no dice other than what is stated in #1... Thanks.

I'm using version 1.2 of DimPro, so maybe this doesn't apply to your setup, but anyway this is the registry key that I amended:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Cakewalk Music Software\Dimension Pro
Contents Folder
Multisamples Folder

Remember that filepath is level above the folder in both cases.

Hmm I do have this key as well however adding the values as per post #1does nothing sadly:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Cakewalk Music Software\dp

I also tried renaming "dp" to "Dimension Pro" - didn't work, named it back.
BTW I'm on 64 bit Dimension Pro version 1.5 (File version 1.5.0.11)
