Hi All,
I'm wondering if there are any X3 users in the Twin Cities who might be willing to open their studios to me for a moment.  I am a legally blind musician who has used Cakewalk software since the mid 90s.  Currently, I am using Cakewalk 8.5.3.282, the last version known to be accessible to blind and visually impaired users.  I have heard that X3 is somewhat accessible using at least two different screen readers.  If possible, I would like to bring a screen reader in on a thumb drive and try to navigate SONAR X3 using that screen reader on a Windows 7 machine.  Your machine will not be effected by the screen reader as it will not be installed on your machine.  If anyone living in the TC is willing to lend me a hand by giving mean opportunity to see if the latest version of SONAR can be used by a blind user with a screen reader, please write to me off list at kevjazz@gmail.com

At the moment, I haven't acquired the Windows 7 machine I intend to use.  I'm getting a dual boot Mac with Windows on one side of a partitioned drive.  I want to see the full program before I get this gear because seeing it will help me decide whether to load SONAR 8.5.3.282, th last version known to be useful to a blind man, or launch this new partition with X3.  I now have an XP machine.  So, I hope i find someone in town with a machine I can check out for a while.
