Sonar, and all the other wonderfully amazing vsts I've recently acquired... lets me do things musically I only dreamed of a decade ago. Actually, it's beyond my wildest imagination during the early days of the Drumtrax and other first attempts to midify the world. It has made me fall in love with firing her up whereas it use to be...challenging. I didn't do much music before because it was too difficult to figure out how to make the DAW work... Now it's Bliss! Even when things go wrong I have to chuckle (is that "funny"?) and say, wtf... I'm obviously NOT in that imaginary thing idiots call heaven...
As a keen observer of the human species, I think I've finally found my true love...and it happens to be a DAW...the X factor which no other human could provide...
isn't that funny??? I think it's funny that she's brought this magical muse into my life just as the planet teeters on climactic collapse... and humans blunder here and there, doing all their stupid things... and finally, as the jet stream is breaking down, arctic collapse is accelerating way faster than ever imagined, subsurface tunneling under greenland is escalating, methane is increasingly bubbling up from melting hydrates on the ocean floor, antarctic ramifications go continually ignored, and weather systems in general are going berzerk all over the planet...
I think it's funny that you make this post, and even more funny when I look at your name... humans do a lot of senseless things... case in point. My response is therapeutically funny to me, and another way in which the Sonar experience is funny...
But mostly, I think it's funny or maybe ironic, but I do try and laugh about it as I cry... that Sonar is finally at a point where I can understand it and begin to wield it's wonder in chronicling the insanity of our species as we continue our oblivious headlong rush over the cliff... a little joy before the roast...
is that funny enough for ya?
