Thanks for the confirmation that the interface does support ASIO.

I believe the KEY to his resolving this is to first de-select the interface in Preferences>Devices, then change driver mode to ASIO, then go back and select the interface in Devices.

Please refer to my earlier post and try the steps I listed.

I just found this thread by clicking on your user name from your other thread about session drummer 2 , I was trying to determine what OS your using and I don't see you mentioning this yet.
I owned a Fast Track Pro, My son is using it now with no issues other than it's pre amps low quality. I mostly used SPDIF.  My only complaint was it would randomly die on me. This was the 32 bit drivers, It was stable under 64 bit.  There was also the hi pitched scream which we now realize is due to using USB buss power. Solution was use a wal wart.

It has ASIO drivers and the web site is kept up to date so don't understand your complaint about support.  Seems by your other thread you have re done you OS anyhow.. but which OS are you using?

Oh brother, now I remember!  they have the worlds worst support site, Every time you want to download the drivers they make you fill out a questionnaire  :(
Another reason I will never purchase their products.

Cactus Music provided a download link for a driver version that supports the following operating systems:

Operating System(s):
Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista 32-Bit SP1, Windows Vista 64-Bit SP1, Windows Vista 32-Bit SP2, Windows Vista 64-Bit SP2, Windows 7 32-Bit, Windows 7 64-Bit, Windows 7 32-Bit SP1, Windows 7 64-Bit SP1

Surely you are using one of those OS.

That Fast Track Pro sould be running pretty good under ASIO driver mode. Install this driver, disable any wireless network device/s on the Laptop, and tell us how you are getting along?

Good luck. :)
