Just uninstalled Duckbar, then rebooted, then re-installed Duckbar and it is working okay now.  I wonder if the hanging is related to the vst scan.  i noticed that Sonar had to go through an scan all my vsts again, which took a while.  Perhaps Duckbar was hanging while Sonar was going through it's process?  Not sure, but it is working again.

I wonder if it might not be more polite to take this conversation to the sonar mods forum as that is where the issue is.

Cakewalk tolerate a lot of things but they don't officially support Duckbar. I too have been a supporter of panu's work for years but wouldn't bring any issues to Cakewalk's forum.

Nonsense. This is a huge benefit to Sonar users even though Cake doesn't get it. Panu has done something the high priced talent can' be bothered with, so it should be discussed here. We don't ask Cake for help with Duckbar and they won't address the issues that Duckbar solves. If money makers like IK multimedia can post at will to get our money, then Panu should be praised and encouraged. He's doing this for free and making my Cakewalk product more useable. Don't push him away, give him a medal.

My uses for it are cleaning the picture cache, the blue vu meters in the compressors in ProChannel, the pre-post mod, the interleave mod and the faders mod!
The restore feature is especially helpful!

Panup, I downloaded the new file twice ant tried to save it to My Downloads. When both downloads finished I didn't get the "Open Folder" option, instead I got a red (instead of green) outlined box that had the run option but with this warning:
 
"Duckbar setup 1.4.2.exe is not commonly downloaded and could harm your computer." 
 
Naturally I just went to My Downloads and installed it anyway.  Installation was flawless on 8.1.
 
I'm not going to try to do anything with it tonight - I have some playing to do - but just wanted to let you know.  Thanks for your hard work.

Thank you again Panu! I have always used and loved your mods. Sonar just isn't the same for me without Duckbar!
