Never heard the Cure's version, but I totally enjoyed this.......even the creepy guitar stuff. I'm not even going to comment on the mix.........(but it's damn good).
Nice job all around (as always) everyone.

I like this pop style, kinda swing happy beachy.  Great playing and singing!

Thanks Mike. Really appreciate it.

Hey Daryl,

I don't remember ever hearing the original version of this, but this is a really cool, fun and bubbly modern pop rocker with a perfect mix!

The lovely Mrs. D did a beautiful job on the vox, the instrumental performances were dynamite, and I must agree that Bapsi's bass tone on this is officially 'Da Bomb!

I'm on my fourth listen, and I actually like the tremolo guitar parts, with the exception of the four pitch bent ones between :34 seconds and :45 seconds, because they sounded like they sort of slipped off key and stuck out a bit to me.  Of course this stuff is always subjective, but they took me out of the song.  It's funny, the four in the second verse starting at 2:15 didn't bother me as much, maybe because they seemed lower in volume or weren't bent as much.

Either way, everyone did a fantastic job on this, the mix is dynamite, and you've got another excellent addition to the Fizzy Pickle repertoire!  You know, I'm not sure, but I think that one time back in the '80s I actually woke up "fizzy pickled" in a hotel room.

Great stuff, guys and gal!

I don't know the original version, but this arrangement is just so nicely disturbed.   Pickled, if you will.
