Having said that, I think Shakespeare is probably marginally easier to understand than Chaucer, which we were also forced to "read" (i.e, stare at blankly until the bell rang for lunch). 





 
I have to say that I'm totally baffled by this kind if attitude to literary classics..........
    
 
I used to look out of the window - far more interesting !

For what it's worth, painting a mullet on an otherwise bare scalp does not turn out as well as you might have expected. Granted, it's likely to be more successful than the "used mop worn as dreadlocks" idea, but some would argue that's a rather low bar.
