I made new buttons in the Staff View:
- Select Whole note duration
- Select Half note duration
- Select Quarter note duration
- Select Eight note duration
- Select Sixteenth note duration
- Select Thirty-two note duration
- Toggle dotted note
- Toggle triplet note
- Open Step Record window
- Run CAL (clicking button opens context menu with all CAL programs available in the SONAR CAL folder)
- Show/hide Track Pane
New buttons in Staff View (preliminary version) (And don't try to whistle that tune - it's ear worm.) Clicking note duration button pops up a little toast message in the right bottom corner of the screen (as shown in the image above).
Similar buttons shall be available in the Piano Roll, too, and also Console View will get some new goodies.
New buttons are included in the next Duckbar update which is ready for delivery before end of the week. I hope you find this feature useful because I had to spend so many hours and coffee mugs (actually mugs of coffee) to program it. :-)
- How to install buttons?- Download the next Duckbar and launch it. Buttons are available while Duckbar is running.
- What is Duckbar?- It's my little add-on to make SONAR X1, X2 and X3 even better DAW than what it is already. It's unofficial, 3rd party program and not supported by Cakewalk. Use at your own risk and disable it before reporting any problems to Cakewalk (including this forum).
