Okay, I added my graphics to my specs, can you tell me how you use the 64 bit version...is it just that the plugin manager asks you?
I wonder if there's a way to force it because when I have the x86 version in the same folder it just automatically loads that without asking.
Thanks John,
Randy

It just did it automatically, Randy. I wonder if you reauthorized it with the picture thingy?

Yessir I did on both GPO and IO.

I'm at a loss. I can think of nothing else to try or what question to ask. I'm sorry.

Randy, I forget... does the X2 Browser show 32bit and 64bit plugin versions in two different colors?

I'm also unclear what this means - "I wonder if there's a way to force it because when I have the x86 version in the same folder it just automatically loads that without asking."    I always drag VTSi's from the Browser, so I simply drag the 64bit version if both are displayed.

No sir, it just states 32 or 64 bit in parenthesis. If I put the 32 bit dll in the cw VST folder I can see  and use that version but not the 64 bit version (but the 32 bit version won't let X2 open if I close and try to re-open X2).

That's the problem, both are not displayed...only 32 bit.
Thanks very much Steve,
Randy

That is bizarre...

Does the standalone player work as expected?

Yessir works fine...I gotta feeling that Dan's post above is onto something so before I mess with it anymore (or uninstall/reinstall yet again) I hope he'll post again ...or anyone else that knows where to keep the x86 file
Thanks again Steve,
Randy

Dan, are you saying you do this during installation or you move it afterwards?

Been awhile since I last installed, but I have several Garritan libraries, all using Aria, and when I did the installs, the 32bit VST went into a folder in my (x86) tree that is deliberately excluded (by me) from Sonar's VST scan. Only my 64bit folder is scanned, plus 3 or 4 32bit plugins that I have installed to subfolders in the 32bit VST folder.

I've never run into any issues with the Aria player and Sonar. Honestly, not allowing Sonar to scan any 32bit plugins, except those i explicitly add, has probably saved me a lot of headaches.

Regards,
Dan
