Ah the mudslinger has arrived bang on schedule. Queue stupid and pointless arguments that do nothing to help this thread....   don't you get bored of trolling jb?

it just so happens I'm terrible at typos and I always think I can phrase things better. Whatever..

You are funny.. And have a guilty conscious, too.

Thanks for the clarification. Should I open up new support requests for my 2 issues? Is there a way for me to see the ticket number (so that I could reference it in another communication) online someplace? The emails I have are totally generic and give no information. This was what was in the ticket I submitted 6 days ago (I was mistaken on the timeframe in my original email).

Your forum account email address is different from the one I think you contacted us with. Can you shoot me a private message with the one you used to contact us? There shouldn't be any need to send again.

Thanks, Ryan. I just looked and apparently I signed up with this board years ago with a different account. I've updated it to be the same one that I registered Sonar with (and opened the tickets). I'll also send you a PM.

Ryan so how long do you think it will be before somebody replies to my (one and only) support issue (#2)?
Sorry I still haven't been given an issue number.

Thanks

I think you're in the cyber corner having a time out. It usually take about 7 days for me to get a reply, based on past experience.

Perhaps it has something to do with signal to noise ratio..

Excluding holiday periods,, it's always been seven days or fewer for me.

I heard back from Cakewalk approximately a day after I submitted this thread and we tested a few things. They said they weren't able to replicate my error. Unfortunately, I've been traveling off and on for the last couple weeks, so this is the first chance I've had to test their suggestions and get back to them.

However, in my working with the OP-X developer, we came up with a fairly simple workaround. I could just hit the "copy" button at the top of the VST and copy the current patch/settings into Program #1. It always seems to revert back to Program #1 when Sonar reloads, so this ensures that the sound I wants loads properly. Fortunately, this "copy" function is instance specific, so it doesn't modify the default program list in any way.

I wanted to pass this along for anyone else experiencing the same problem with this particular VST.
