So anyone round here tried one or own one?
 
I am thinking about going with powered speakers for when I do my Solo act. 
Some of them come with 3 channels. That's all I need. Vox, Guitar and Laptop.
The Guitar is no problem, I can use a pedal board.
But I do need some efxs on my voice so I'm looking for a pedal efx system.
I also need user pre sets. This one looks ideal.
  Anyone ever tried a Vocal EFX's Box??
  Any recommendations?
 
I would like good reverb and the ability to have some different delay times for different songs. I don't need or would I use the rest ( Chorus or Harmonizers)

 Well I have the Harmony G and Tone correct pedals from the same series. The tone correct feature is OK if you like T-Pain, but the compressor, reverb and other effects are the best sounding channel strip I've ever had for a live performance. The Harmony G is crazy awesome for punching in real nice harmonies in a live situation.  I'm pretty certain you will love the VoiceTone if you get it. 

I use a TC Helicon VoiceLive onstage. It's a lot of fun. I drive it from the MIDI out on my primary synth. Just use it for vocal harmonies, though, and not the effects.

Looking for a live vocal processor, I checked out and returned a few of the Helicon products (H1 Single, Create XT and VoiceLive Touch). The effect quality was quite good (esp the H1's harms), but I did not like that there is no way of independently controlling the reverb and/or delay level. That was the deal-breaker for me. I still can't figure out what they were thinking when they did that. I ended up going with the Lexicon MX400 w/ foot switch. The H1 Single was impressive tho and i'd like to get one again for keeps.

Im messing around with a TC Helicon VoiceLive right now. Watched a bunch of Youtube vids on it and been through the manual a few times.

Thanks for all the reply's... SO Matt, your saying there is no blend of dry and wet?? that would seem a huge over site. As I will be running directly though and not in an effect loop this would be a deal breaker for me too. The big reason for this purchase is to regain the quality and control I get with the Yamaha 01v. I don't want to go back to using rack mount effect, I sold them all when I bought the 01v :( !

Hi, what i'm saying is that the reverb and delay are tied to the same volume control. In other words, if you want more reverb, when you raise the reverb level, the delay level increases with it. And vice versa. It's quite ridiculous, really. The other effects actually have thier own independent level controls, just not the reverb and delay, they are joined at the hip.

I contacted TC Helicon support about. I first asked if i was missing something? They said no, i had it right. The verb and delay are hard wired internally to the same level control. I asked if there is a work around because i need to control reverb and delay levels independently, it's a basic requirement? They said it can't be done, sorry. Both the Create XT and the VoiceLive Touch are this way. I was told if i wanted that kind of "sophisticated control" i should get VoiceLive2 for $800.

WOW, seems to be the story with every pedal board I ever owned. They design them for people who are content with a pre sets.
Load it up with hunderds of usless sounds and under power the important features.
All I want, all I want, is reverb and delay and I need those to be 100% customized.
One does not have time between songs to mess with settings of anykind. I'm dreaming of having about 10 pre sets.

Best rig was the old Atari and everything changed via MIDI, I even had a Marshal JM100? MIDI controlled guitar pre amp. I used Jeff Koftinoffs Performer software that put the lyrics on screen and a foot  controller made from a modified joystick..... But then your backing tracks can't have real bass and drums.

What solo performers need is a Audio Playback format that can have MIDI messages embeded. cool..

Yes, those extra electrical circuits and the engineering of those and a maybe few extra things cost more, too much sometimes to me. http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.aspx?m=2663008 not what you want, but then I ended up with what I bought (the videos show that) and all babbling aside, the rest costs more.
