I love tracks like this where I don't know what is going to happen next.  A little bit of Rush, Ronnie Montrose, Styx but much that isn't easily compared, in a good way.  Impressive.

it's kinda the goal, using some of my older influences, but not borrowing directly....
seems like every cool riff that there is, has already been done!
but i'm still searching......

I dunno Bats, this is just your usual great stuff.  All levity aside this is excellent.  The mix, performance (particularly the vocals), and the arrangement are great.  I wish I could get the timing down as you do on this number.  I may have said this before but there is just a wee touch of XTC on steroids in my perception of some of your work.

you know, XTC was never an influence.. but i always liked them..
 
but Rundgren WAS an influence, and he produced a XTC album....
 
and andy Partidge plays an Ibanez Artist just like one that i play,
so THERE is your XTC connection!
