Check out these 3 tunes by one of my bands, " Bleeding Black"  recorded w/Sonar Plt.  Live drums etc...
Hope you all like these.   Starting 3 more this weekend!

Hey, I'm listening to this on heaqdphones
This is good.  It makes me feel, and that is how I decide what I like.
Your band is tight timing wise.
definitely all solid players
To hear live drums is a treat.
If I were to mix this I would turn up the vocals, there is a message, but I can't hear it, but I'm deaf in one ear so take that for what it is worth.  I guess if I turned up the vocals I might need to pull back on some of the effects on the voice.

I would also do something to the cymbals, just a little to toppy, which I think interferes with the guitars.  I would also eq the rest of the kit so it was a little more organic.  You are a great drummer but the drums (skins) to me are not deep enough

The base sits nice, but I would get a little more transient in their.  It sounds more like a sting section and less of a driving force.

Caveat, on the third song the drums are more what I would shoot for.

If you are using a whole lot of saturation and tape sim stuff I would back it way off.  I suppose you are going for a style, but bring everything back to reality, you guys don't need all that, don't hide behind that.  More heart, less head.

The lead around 9 min is good.

Now with that said, this is so far greater technically, and musicianship wise, and recording wise than I could do, that you could probably get better advice.

Very dood though, charge ahead undaunted.

A brilliant song and mix to my ears. Tremendous solos and vocals.

Great feedback - I tried some tricks in these mixes I've been reading about like using decapitator on drums and vocals so that might be the saturation effect Jesse is referring too.   Probably too late to change these now but we're about to do 3 or 4 more so these are great comments and will consider them in the next go round and I might then get a chance to revisit some of this as once all the tracks are done I will need to make sure they sound consistent. Bass is always the hardest instrument for me to mix and trying to keep the definition AND sufficient low end is a challenge.

I likes it...    Great solid performances in all respects, y'all play well and just as important, play well as a unit.  Some nice fluid guitar solos too!   Mix-wise everything sounds really good here and well balanced, and the drums in particular have a great live room sound.
