don't have a kindle.. but I guess there is an android tablet kindle reader... it's better to get to your customers quicker, it'll help.. it's not the cheapest of things for a book here due to the size limits. our postage here is "messed up"
 
 

Hey Fog... yeah, that's what's nice about the eBook edition. It can be read on a variety of devices. Amazon has a free reader app for all the major devices including Mac and PC. What's also great is you can load the book up on all your devices and have it accessible wherever you need it. And you do searches, get word definitions, etc., which can't be done with the print edition.

That date is probably just an estimate. The official release is end of March, but then I think Amazon UK does get it in stock a bit later than Amazon.com.
