My original favorite poster from the Pro Audio days on the newsgroup forum.... I don't come here much but I haven't seen him post in years.  Surely I'm not the only one missing Glennbo...  just crossed my mind is all...

I didn't know that Glennbo was banned.

What a surprise, he did not seem to be a rebel against Cakewalk.

Banned should be for those who have a pirated copy of Sonar and came here and asked all kinds of crazy questions, and brought up issues that we, legit owners, never had.

Banned should be for those who came here and tried to compaint that Sonar is asking for a keygen.

But sadly enough, a lot of people jumped in and tried to help them.

How can you tell that this user is banned?

If you go to that profile link and hover your mouse on the little icon that looks like a little person, (just under Profile Options) it will display some text indicating that the member is banned.

He was a rebel against this forum. He seriously disliked Cakewalk's decision to close its newsgroup and start this web forum. Many of his posts here were intended to ridicule the web forum environment (although a lot of those posts were lost when Cakewalk nuked the first Coffeehouse).

Too bad if he was banned- he was quite prolific with Sonar and was generally helpful to those less experienced.

Not sure what happened - the posts I saw looked innocuous - but who knows?  (I certainly do not need to know - was just curious, but not so curious that I want to stir up anything).

When X1 came out he had a really prolific posting period that was very much denigrating of cakewalk. He was asked to calm down in a few threads that I remember and  just wouldn't leave it alone. He was also very critical of the people of Cakewalk and the forum software and just went on and on and on.
