I had some work done on my PC and ended up re installing X-3. When I went into Additive drums I got the not authorized pop up. It's already registered but I'm getting this every time I load drums. I don't have the authorization code. I also followed the directions on line but it didn't give an authorization code. I e-mailed XLN Support but still haven't heard anything. I have 3 days left. Does anyone know how to fix the situation? thanks for any help!

I forgot to mention running the XLN installer says everything is up to date and registered. But when I load it in Sonar I get the not authorized with 2 days left. I'm afraid to uninstall it. I have the Sonar disc and it had a sheet from XLN with a different product key than my Cakewalk store account.

Interesting, this happened to me yesterday, but it was only on one project.  I went through the XLN installer and it said I'm update to date and registered too, and afterward I haven't had any more problems.

Not on mine. The days keep counting down and now it's showing only 2 days left. I wish I had a way to get in contact with someone at XLN so I can get it fixed!

I spoke with Cakewalk support. the installer doesn't recognize the product keys and has a different computer listed. The computer ID has a lock on it too. The good news is the code is re set to 10 days. The bad news is it's not supposed to be the trail version

Exactly what kind of work was done on the PC, Bill?
If the CPU/MoBo has been changed, it's not the same machine, and has a new machine ID.
If that's the case, you will probably need to transfer the license to the 'new" machine.
Cakewalks own software license is easy, as you only need the SN and registration codes.

I just went through a similar scenario when I moved all of my software to my laptop. In that case, it was more obvious that I was dealing with a different machine.
IK and iLok have programs that make this fairly easy, but some other programs required some emails with support to manually generate new keys. I'm not sure what is available for AD.

Hey! Good to hear from you. Yep I'm having some strange issues. I think it has something to do with him cleaning my registry files after my PC crashed. When I checked the licence number registered at my XLN account it was different from the one it said to write down when I initially installed. I haven't changed computers though. Everything's exactly the same. The area where the licence number is located is darkened out and I can't put in the number they gave me. Dean at Cakewalk is aware of everything and we tried to fix it but the numbers are not jiving. He's trying to contact XLN for me. I still haven't heard anything from them.

To redeem this issue, simply run the Online Installer. You will be asked to add your computer again. After that, hit the "Install and update all" button to authorize your products.

We did this. We weren't asked anything. There was no "Install and update all" .

Interesting. It's odd that it seems nothing matches anything on record.
I think this one is above my pay grade
Hopefully, Dean can get to the bottom of it.
Let us know how it goes. Good luck.

Just wondering. I had the same issue when I upgraded from Windows 8 to 8.1. It blew out my registration just in my XLN products. I had to remove the computer registered in the XLN. I gave it a new computer name, typed in the numbers, submitted, then the installer checked the products installed for updates and everything was good.
