every once in a great while ...the Blue Indicator for Midi Echo engage will not click off...
 
All soft synths play which can get a bit unnerving when mutli-tracking...
 
Usually I save and close the project, re-open it and all is well ...tonight, it continued to "stay on" after closing the project, and re-starting SONAR X3d
 
I did encounter this on X2... it's rare but it does happen ...
 
Anyone else experience this?

Well, I constantly had them click back on when I'd go to another track and found it a bit frustrating... but since switching to activating tracks by clicking/highlighting on the left side at the track# area (which I should have been doing all along, but me b dumb) it's been less obnoxious...

when you click on the left side ...are you also engaging the midi echo (blue) switch ?

You probably have 'always echo selected track' in your preferences

Mute them. When you have synths in a project that are active, they will play as this is normal operation. You need to mute or delete any synths you do not wish to hear

This is because you have a piece of hardware or software hanging on and nmot closing and htis prevents Sonanr form closing

 "echo selected track" is off
