Yet another project in which the tracks will not Read automation unless Write is on.  The tracks would pass the nodes without moving.  If I turn Write on, they respond to the automation.  This is not true of every project.
 
Anyone have an idea or solution for this?
 
Even if I can't fix it I wold like to know what the heck this is all about and if somehow using a V-Studio causes this.

If its only happening with certain projects, I would find out what each of those projects have in common, like certain plugins, if the automation is connected to a plugin and see if that is the culprit.
 
I would send a bug report to them. (them = Cake)
