They're web site sucks.
What are the pros and cons of each? I can't tell the advantage of one over the other.
I'm thinking if they have a sell it could be a contender for my birthday or Christmas, but I don't know anything about it.
I have S-Gear and Amplitube 4...so I may get something else, or nothing at all.

So far I'm interested in...
Valhallaplate
TDR Nova
Bias FX or Amp

Ok...here's the skinny...which isn't good...but the PROGRAMS ARE...

Bias Amp is where you build and tweak your Amps...and it's extensive what you
can do...Pro gives you the Amp Match module, the Pro Convolver, and the
Glassy, Crunch, and Insane Amp packs....

Biax FX has all the pedals, etc...where you can build your own "pedalboards"
and integrates with Bias Amp for the best
of both worlds...obviously Pro of each being the best of each...

You also get lots of user and Artist amps, pedalboards, and presets etc...from the ToneCloud...

Currently on Sale for $179 each for Pro, or $79 Each for Standard...
Highly recommend the demos...right now...they are edging out Amp 4
and S-Gear for me...due mostly to the "Tweakability"...

S-Gear still is the "Out of the box" champion for me...
But Bias is a pretty serious threat to both S-Gear and A4...

There is also now Bias Pedal, also on sale for $79, that allows you
to create your "own" distortion pedal, and also integrates with
Bias FX...

BTW...if you find yourself interested in any of these I'll point you
to where it's the cheapest...just let me know...

So is there an all inclusive program?
I guess from what you say...Bias Amp Pro would be the best for me.
I don't fully understand what Bias FX is compared to pedalboard.
I guess demo all of them and find out...huh?

Bias Amp is where you build and tweak your amplifier..
Bias FX is where you build and add your pedalboard...Pro also includes Rack processors..
Bias Pedal is where you build and mod your own Distortion Pedal...

For a brief summary...so, by comparison, Amp would be the most like S-Gear, without the FX, but
where you can "Change out" amp parts...i.e. Powertubes, Preamp Tubes, Transformers...etc..
to customize your amp...

hmmm. Well I'll wait and see if anything I need (or want) goes on sell. I'm honestly pretty content with everything, but I can never have too many guitar toys. I'm also kind of looking out for TH3.
I'm happy with both S-Gear and Amplitube 4. You can certainly cover a lot of ground with those.
Thanks for the info Larry.

Even if you don't plan to buy, I'd still recommend the demos...they're pretty fun...

I'd say get the lot, and the Pro versions of each, BIAS Pedal doesn't have a Pro version as yet, they have said it may be in the future and the upgrade from the 'Standard. version of Pedal will be the price difference between both. As CC said, BIAS Amp lets you build/tweak your amp very nicely, BIAS FX allows you to use the amps from and the you build in BIAS Amp, along with it's own good collection of Amps, plus of course has a comprehensive selection of effects pedals and racks. BIAS Pedal allows you to tweak your until your hearts content all your distortion needs, allowing you to get some truly awesome distortion tones from light breakup to full blown ass whooping rrrrrrrrr. All integrates i into BIAS FX

For me I have most amp sims including S-Gear 2 and Amplitube 3 and 4 and all extras (well, had I guess, I swapped all my Amplitube stuff for some Toontrack stuff not long after Amplitube 4's release though) and nothing touches BIAS for me, closest for me would be TH2, never really thought that much of S-Gear 2 though after the initial WOW, and the telling thing for me was that I'd always end up using something else, even if I started out with S-Gear 2. But that's the good thing about choice and personal preference, there something out there for everyone and every situation. But for me the whole BIAS range towers above most, and the sound is just gorgeous. I couldn't however do without TH2, it gets quite a bit of use, probably as much as BIAS and is my choice in a good number of situations, can't wait for TH3 :)

As CC says, you should at least give the Positive Grid stuff a good try, I think it would be a mistake not to, if you were only to try one, I would say BIAS FX, because it has just about everything you need. If you demo it/them, make sure you take full advantage of the time you have and really dig in and give it a good thrashing.
