it could be considered crack based truth by some...but truth is what it is at heart...and I think heart makes fine music and movies because they find out how to, and do it.....How that is recorded is a matter of choice...and tools available that can do it consistently and of fine grade...if they lack something of method or law, or have bad platform bases...reliablilty is out the window...and could be why Microsoft has called the OS windows...perhaps another revealed truth to toss your money at, and out of...in mindful thought....As it continues to change, and be updated...it is causing issues in the industry of making, and apple is no better off as it too has changed the OS....and reliability is part of Professional ethic...I believe...But I leave my interpretations of words, and promises, and claims, told me of this wonder of wonderment "computer" with this or that with a pepper and salt based seasoning of liberal reasoning and perspective of the pudding made and tested out as or as not....and now one can say ..if the new is new revised...to be an expert in or of is moot... until they are, and that takes time and has to be used to the full extent of it's functions to derive a expert opinion...And when they are, they are made not to be, when that change occurs again...SO Experts/teacher have to learn or relearn, which makes them students in a industry of change always...and no one can learn the complete methods of change, as it is always being rewritten, and say they are an expert or professional in that, in changing methods or function with unknowns coming as new.....As they will have to relearn the change to become profession in that change, and so no standard can stand as such until it is perfected truth or standard which should remain as such...Which will change also, if industry is ruled by economic gains...cause new has to come to fuel it...Capitalism ...And so a student is the best label for any true meaning of Standards that keep changing....and You know my crack based thought is proving itself right now....if you go look on any forum for DAWs...and computers...and even lawyers...and teachers....what has been learnt, or taught in certain field of some experts, has to be rewritten to reflect what is being revealed constantly...
And so change to a truth once known, may not be truth for long, where they thought truth was with a state of method or law or function...if it changes, and it has...now has to become relearnt...cause something changed it from one state to another....and those teachers still teaching the old...are in error of the new found truth, which was always truth...it just got lost, revealed, rewritten in so others can learn it some what righted...and was found again to change...causing no written word of teaching to be true anymore...as change makes no truth until it stands as such...and if it continues to change,....and it is...then no expert can comment on it as a expert....cause they are not...if it is new...and there are bugs!.
So in all circles there is a margin of error, which could be defined as such..or called the lie...because no one knows the truth...or it is hidden, or is ignored, or left to cause chaos, so more money is made by the cash cow....Well there is certainly something funny about computers being noted by many as being problematic when doing work on them...and it is dependant on many Laws or states of principles, put into the electronic, and dependant on electrical and some refined sciences...some good logics, some bad logic and some exceptions to cover or mend them together....I believe the bad is..in industry cutting corners to maximize profit gains...and putting in cheapo parts in some regards..to cause issues in the machine.....it is part of the greed method, it is used by many so called professionals of certain ilk...it is a practice, and it continues to go on...although there are authorities in practice also who police Quality control..to some degree.....one has to make a case, and prove it was intentional...and in some regards, as long as they fix the issues...they are left alone to do what is being done.. releasing Bugs, and trying to fix most or the most important ones, and then releasing a update or patch...and then a new new version is later compiled...with more bugs...as noted by me, and others....it seems a constant...not sure why?...well think like me, and you have the answer..
Questions or posts like this, can be seen as market strategizing or gauging popular directions or trends...replying to that with one or the other, helps the other bake better bread....or what ever...
So, if as I said X3d is new, PT 11.1 or .2...is also...there are no experts of those two states...and Alex has written up a list of bugs for X3d which are reproducible.....So..I am sure PT campers are experiencing the same...as I read those threads and posts myself, to gain a feel of what is happening in the industry...I see issues ...and I peek in on Steinberg's campers as well ...cause I have a very long standing account with them, cause I bought into that too...
Now industry...if I am correct in this ...has a Driver being used called ASIO 2...that invention belongs to Steinberg.
It is widely used, it works, it is in many camps,...thus the industry is not exclusive to Avid completely..and so..it should be a shared place...a unionizing force...a place where all are welcome...equals more clients.. which in turn makes more money for all...and all have bliss..or some states until change changes that...in hopes by some, so more update can fuel more sales, and others wanting a standard to become one!.
Crack?...Yah I see a big one...and I will not kiss it better until I see change of the practice of it being exploited and left to be in chaos as it seems to be n flux...But I will point it out when I see it...again perspective....if I am looking out of the crack, then I have to also say there is one..cause I found it and fell into it most willfully...and now I know how to get out of it...see experience helps.
So why ask which is better? or which one is on top?, or the industry standard?...who is polling for the answers?...are we all sheep?....Bahhh...oh I see chickens who will not say what is true..so should we all follow along and say one or the other,...and be wrong?...or should we keep the door swinging in many directions so some boats make it to the other shore successfully?.. for more to make money in?...or walk away and wait for the dust to settle?...what ever floats your boat...to the other shore ...is what makes it a good boat.,,,of course that boat has to be care for to be consistent in doing so...and methods need to be followed on how to.
Now count the chickens, and do not throw them or boot them around...they all will feed on the right seed of truth eventually....When that comes to be, a expert opinion can be uttered!...and from what I see, that could take some time to become one, with all this updating and fixing continually going on.....I think what is right in front of our faces, is proof enough of the cracks in the machine showing everyone or anyone who can see it as so.....being its bad heal...
Now smart remarks aside, and taken with glee and a sip.....when I put my cup down...and wipe my lips...perhaps my mind on this may change as well...cause humans do do that a lot....wink...they also steal, lie, and cheat...noted also.
