Hi,
Would like to weigh in on the debate. My"glitch" has to do with "ANY" mouse movement at all in the track pane on playback.
No amount of buffer or tweaking can prevent it. Was using Logitech cordless laser mouse & tried same brand usb....still get audio skip.
FW driver, graphics card...all rolled back/updated...digital GLITCH!
Any ideas appreciated?

Based on other threads, do you have the ability to try a "plain" LED mouse?

Thanx Steve, Mouse doesn't stop the problem.
Has to be a driver problem????

Possilbly... though if you had tried a "regular" mouse and are seeing the same thing it would seem to be a little coincidental!

For me, these problems remain in X3c....

Just an FYI...

I've filed a report.

I wonder if there's a way to "capture" what's happening at a system level even though there's no crash or hang...

Ok, here's what I found about my problem, you can try it yourself and see if it helps with your glitches.

I am running at 1920 x 1080 resolution.  When I go to use the fader/knobs they jump erratically
top to bottom full right full left...
When I drop to anything in between 1920 x 1080 and 1600 x 900 the problem persists.

At 1600 x 900 or below all is well and everything works fine.

ALL my other DAW's (even 32 bit)  have NO ISSUE with 1920 x 1080 resolution.  THAT makes me believe
that this an X3 issue with the handling of higher resolutions.

I have two widescreen 22" LCD monitors - they are dissimilar in resolution. The primary (track view) is 1920 x 1080 at a refresh rate of 59 Hz. The secondary (console view, browser and inspector) is 1680 x 1050 at a refresh rate of 60 Hz. I have an older system. I see none of the jumpiness that you do in any view. Are you using onboard video?

It's an APU...so obviously the answer is yes...it's an HD6620G...it's designed for HD resolution.

Believe me, no one realizes more then I do that this will not be an issue on every system, as there
are THOUSANDS of video cards and drivers,etc...out there.

But there is obviously something "funky" going on in X3 if 6 other DAW's are NOT having this problem
WITH ALL THE SAME HARDWARE...No if's, and's, or but's about it...

I'm having exact same problem after I started using a 32 inch monitor with 1920x1080 resolution. I never noticed this before on my laptop with 1376x768 resolution. Even the plugins (FM8, Kontakt, etc.) behaves normally in a project in X3C. It's the faders and knobs of Sonar that shows this weird problem. All the drivers are up-to-date. Is there any fix or going to be fixed in X3D?
