Just noticed this today when I went to sample some beats in SD3 - all parts except part A will react to the Loop button...A simply plays the pattern once and stops...an dyes the loop button lit, or highlighted
 
Can anyone else see if it happens please, before I write off to CW?

What is part A ?

Sorry I thought those who knew SD would understand what I meant...in the Session Drummer VSTi Window...where you insert loops into the slots A-H and then audition them - there is a looping tool to use..which as I wrote works on all parts except a pattern placed into the A slot.

I just tried it. It seems to work OK here. Is there a specific program, MIDI loop or formula to replicate the problem. I am using v1.0.0.306 64bit version of the dll, if it matters.

As scook says, if you can provide the steps taken, then it's easier for us to test it out.

I only added the version info because I skipped installing SD3 from X3. So there were some updates in X3. Still a more detailed description of the failure would be useful for testing.

Not much to explain really - open the VSTi, load a drum kit program, choose a MIDI loop from the library load to slot A and play....that's it...tried Platinum Samples and Groove Monkey so I don't think it's the MIDI loops, especially as all the other parts DO loop....in fact if I press play on A it not only stops after one run of the loop, I cannot then click on another slot until I click the stop button...when testing loops in the other slots I can jump from one to another without it stopping, or needing to stop it.

I just loaded the X3 64bit binary for SD3 v1.0.1.197
 
Loaded the "Smart Loops Groovy Kit" (It was the first one under Acoustic)
The default loop loaded by the program was "6-8 suffle FILL 02 (1 bar).mid"
It looped OK.
I also tested with Groove Monkey clips not included with SONAR. Looped OK.

Seems like some problem, but I'm having the same SD3 version as you, and part A seems to loop normally. Have you tried to load both A and B with same midi pattern, and A does not loop, whereas B loops ?
