Can you try this. Load the drum kit with (the last group) Rhythm Machine - DrumTraks.prog[27 MB]
 
By default part A would be loaded as well. Can it loop ?

Yeah did that too - might be just a glitch in my version from installation??? It is why I wanted others to test adn for that I am grateful to you both...at least it confirms it is my system...not the VST
 
BTW - if I run the trialling process via the Loop Explorer view - no probs at all it loops whatever loop I pick...I will stick with that I think....I have never really used the loop explorer before, bit it is rather easy to use...dunno why I have never tried it before!
 
I will mark the thread solved as in essence it is as via Loop Explorer I can do what I need, and it is only something pertaining to my system.

Yes it loops - the program I was loading was Acoustic Platinum Samples Legends kit - but when I re-laoded it again after the Rhythm Machine, again it would not loop part A, but would loop the others - weird....

I can replicate the problem using the "Platinum Samples Legends Kit 3.prog"

Ahhh cool, so it is the kit not the VSTi - thanks Scook So I guess I should re-direct to their support desk...

I suspect the .prog file. Try loading the instruments separately. It appears to work with the individual sfz files that make up the kit.

Can I have the exalt midi pattern each of you use ? I have all the Platinum Kits for testing it further.

I believe I found the issue. The "Platinum Samples Legends Kit 3.prog" has A set to a pattern length of 32 beats. It actually is looping. Try reducing the pattern length value to the right of the MIDI pattern entry.

Thanks Scook - yep that is it - it will loop A with it set up to 10 bars, any more and it stops looping..Something learned and something to look out for in future!
