Yeah, maybe a bunch of field goals this game, eh?! Or three touchdowns each offense? I dunno.

Six hours of ads and five minutes playing football (btw why do you call it football, didn't you know that name was already taken). Gimmie a break :) I only watch the half time bit (on YouTube). Who is doing it this time? Let me guess Lady Gaga. Just a guess as I'm not a yank.

OK, why do y'all call the rear storage compartment of a car (errrm automobile) the "boot"? It's not a foot covering garment nor is it shaped like any "boot" I've ever seen. They are generally shaped like, lemme see, a, well, trunk (as in storage compartment).

Broncos all the way here!!!! The number 1 offense against the number 1 defense. It's cool that the Seahawks are in it but I'm going Broncos all the way.

And since the trunk (boot) is at the "rear" of the car and a boot is placed at the bottom of the body I see even less a correlation to the term.

Although boot and bonnet are quaint.

As the Germans invented cars I guess we can all count ourselves quite lucky. However the UK invented football, for some reason you decide to rename it as soccer even though it is an international sport. I don't see socks as being particularly operative in this sport.

I guess we should have copyrighted it.

How does who invented cars dismiss what the British call the hood and the trunk?
