• SONAR
  • X3 seems to have removed R-mix, and Addictive Drums didn't load??

Any clues?   Does addictive drums load with the standard install of X3 producer?  Do you have to install it separately?
As far as R mix, I had never really used it but needed it for a project and couldn't find it in my plug in menus  anywhere ?

R-Mix is no longer included with SONAR. Perform an advanced install of X2 Producer to get the plug-in.

Addictive Drums is a separate install directly from XLN Audio. The instructions are in an rtf in your store account.

Not actually true - there is a way to install offline for those who don't have their DAW on the www.

Rmix should still be there unless you uninstalled X2.

You can re install X2. Choose Custom install and uncheck (samples and plugins)everything except the core X2 program. Remix is build into X2 core program and it is not a vst.

Installing XLN Audio Addictive Drums On An Offline Computer

I just went through this with AD yesterday. The fact is, you can't install the 64 bit version of AD to an off line DAW. Nor will you be able to install any future upgrades.

This really sucks! Not sure why xlnaudio does it this way, but they do. I had watched the videos of AD and was really excited to give it a try. I was also considering Addictive Keys, but I guess not.
