Nicely done!  A great update to this song.  I prefer this to the original because the oboe and strings just sound better than the 80's era synths, imo.  Alison Moyet is one of my favorite all-time female vocalists but this stands up to a comparison.

Pretty cool what you guys did with this song. Alison is a pretty hard vocalist to follow, but what Liz did feels right for your rendition.
 
Personally, I'd like more strings in the middle, but that's just me. The snare hangs around too long after each hit during the verses. Not sure if that's reverb or compression, but it is a little loud, IMO.
