I wore this album out in the 80's, so glad you brought it back! Great vocals, with the acknowledgement that Alison Moyet are pretty iconic, or audioconic, or what have you. 
 
You show a ton of respect for the original version, no complaints there. I really liked it and your instrumentation choices.
 
And, nice bass! 
 
As you seem to be popping out these gems frequently, I can only offer one real idea - the excellent vocalist could maybe put a shade more emotion into her interpretations. Her killer voice stands on its own, and if she's a little new to the whole singing thing, I understand completely. And maybe it's a comparison to Moyet, but this one was a little like she was reading it off a card, in the "interpretation" department. Still, I'd listen to it again and will - very enjoyable.

The fever - has it affected your ability to hear the bottom end of the aural spectrum? Any more bass, it would have been a bass solo mate ☺

Another winner!  I'm definitely hearing a pattern in regards to mix/production value....  a good pattern. 
 
As with others, I've never heard the original but I thought this was certainly well done.    All it needs now is a bass part - that would really take it to another level.
