  • Difficult screen image when editing in lanes

Does anyone else have this problem? The new lane implementation showing the lanes as well as the selected image in the track space makes for very confusing editing... I'm continually getting lost... Especially when editing more than one track at a time... I truly hope the Bakers have come up with a way to make the two image types easier to differentiate... <sigh>

I'm not too sure what you are talking about Keni. A picture would help.

Hallo, Keni

I'm a little tired and lost.  Not sure what you mean by "the selected image in the track space".

Are we talking about the waveform in the "composite track", as it were?

Sorry to be slow..

The blue clip header is the difference, right?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Keni's referrring to the lane clips and the parent track "combo" clip.  FWIW, I've caught myself a few times trying to edit the combo clip on the parent track and couldn't figure out why the editing tools suddenly stopped working.

Oy, me too.

We need an option to minimize the main track(lane for lack of a better word) when the take lanes are expanded. I think that would be a move in a positive direction.

One workaround would be to make the parent track a different height than your current lanes zoom level. Like make it bigger or squish it down to nothing (which would probably be better to save screenspace).
