When I open a project in 64 (only happens in 64), it tells me about plugins that it cannot "find" BUT NOT PLUGINS THAT ARE USED IN THE PROJECT, JUST PLUGINS IT CANT LOCATE.

It makes me click through a good number of these dialogues before i can get working and sometimes...

it does it also when I right click to insert a plugin, i get a series of dialogues to click through about plugins it can't find,

This behavior is new in X3d.

Whaaaaatttttt????????????????

Help, it's annoying.

Maybe a messed up VST inventory. The solution is to a bad VST inventory is http://www.cakewalk.com/S....aspx/2007013315  Make sure to use the 64bit version of the Plug-in Manager.

Shhh... between you and me Scook just recommended a VST reset. Keep it quiet, people might not notice.

I had this issue and the vst reset did not fix it... Since it was only finding older missing plugs that were actually still in the vst inventory - I ended up after several resets and scans - deleting the older plugs. It irritated me as well. Don't tell Alex cause he might tell Scook. It's maddening the risks we take.

Shhhh...... Nobody is allowed to talk about the R's anymore, we are supposed to assume that everybody does this without asking or confirming. Shhh....
