I just bought a Roland A 49 which came with X1 LE. I registered and Calkewalk has sent an offer to upgrade to X3 Studio for $99. Figure I'll go for it. The deal ends tomorrow. So I just tried to order it and it won't let me, say's to contact customer support. I guess they need to confirm my ownership of X1LE first. But scary is I e mailed them and they say they might be 2 days in contacting me. 
So questions from those who have probably been down this road. 
Will they honor the deal after tomorrow? 
Do these deal often appear?

AFAIK $99 is the regular price for X3 Studio upgrade from any version of SONAR (except LE). SONAR 8.5 would qualify.

My version of 8.5 is not registered as I bought it (unknowingly) second hand from a friend who said he'd never used it. At the time I did not know about the "rules" and generally I never bother registering software anyhow. All you get is junk mail.  but this time the junk mail seems worthwhile.  
My only other version is Home Studio from 2004 which Roland sent me when I had my Music Store. I'm a pretty loyal customer in general so I'll see if the customer service comes through.

They are usually understanding about such things.  I would give them a call and explain situation.  I had a similar situation before and they resolved it without any hassle.

FYI unless I'm out of the loop on a promo, I think you're looking at $149 not $99 to upgrade. This is based off SONAR X1 LE ownership. HTH!
