I'm working with Sonar X2 Producer and I'm wanting to create my own samples with Drop Zone, I've figured out mostly everything besides how to loop the sample I drag into the synth.  I have tried searching online for a couple hours for any information about Drop Zone and there doesn't seem to be anything anywhere.  While I was searching I did find that it's possible to use Dimension Pro for the same purpose but that's a whole different set of troubles there.

With a sound loaded, click anywhere in the window to activate Loop and Direction controls.Press the L key on your keyboard. The waveform is highlighted in red with a vertical red line at the beginning and end of the waveform. The red arrow across the bottom indicates the direction of the loop.

Wow, I feel dumb for not at least trying that now, plus I put this in the wrong section of the forum.  I use the L key all the time to loop in Sonar.  Thanks a lot.

i prefer rx2's , have done for years as they are quite flexable to tempo's.. you can use em in rxp or dropzone..

i was surprised to see rx2's used / mucked about with as audio in the past on here.. but do the same with midi for a long time before when the ST was the mainstay in a studio
