Thanks for checking it out, Steve! Yes, that's the vibe I was going for, retro but modern mix. I thought maybe the synth might be overstating the point but it grew on me, lol. I appreciate your nod to the guitars. Lead guitar comes pretty hard for me so it's nice to hear someone actually digs it. Thanks again for your time.

This number may have too much synth component to hark back to the sixties, but the clean guitar lines remind me of Steve Cropper who always played his licks clean and clear. And the drums are right on top of the beat ; I like the way they push and maintain the momentum. I like the mix just fine.
