I've seen this in other posts, but thought I'd repost for anyone who may have missed it. Computer Magazine is giving away quite a bundle of stuff for their 200th issue. This includes:
  • Rapture full version with a great tutorial in the mag
  • 7 hours of tutorial vids, including some on Sonar and Rapture
  • FXpansion distortion plugin
  • Goldbaby sample pack
  • 35 other plugins
I already have Rapture, but still signed up. I used to read CM in the past and found it to be useful. This offer was a good excuse to give it another go.

I have this copy too and I am glad they made 5 tutorial videos for Sonar X3. CM had rarely post any articles or videos for Sonar users. They have been doing stuff for Abelton, Reason, Cubase and Protools. I hope that can change in the future.

Google play newsstand is a fantastic deal...under $4/issue 4 a sub. I never could afford subscribing before... Also, CM Specials... current issue is on "Mastering"

I don't think I've ever seen that magazine here in Ottawa.

@ rontarrant:
If the OP is actually talking about Computer Music magazine, you should be able to find it at a Chapters, or other place with a comprehensive magazine rack in Ottawa. I live in Cornwall, so there is NO chance of finding something exotic like that here, but I bought a Computer Music magazine at Presse Internationale in Montreal yesterday, and I remember being able to find them at the Chapters in Pointe Claire (Montreal's West Island). Expect to pay premium import prices of around 20 dollars plus of course tax.

That plugin pack is really nice. Those 35 plugins are on the cover DVD every month (+one new every month).
The only minor downside is that there are not 64 bit versions of every one of them. It doesn't disturb me, cause I'm on 32 bit still.
