Normally, I do a 'shift f' to get all my tracks to fit in monitor view. All the tracks are the same size, height and width. Don't know what I've done but now when I do a 'shift f' one of the tracks doesn't resize but adjusts itself to another size (much bigger than the other tracks).

Also, I had a few tracks that used automation. I deleted them but now when I click the 'N' to open the automation lane, one of the tracks has nothing there, the yellow line is gone. The rest of the tracks has the yellow line when I click the 'N'.

Also, I used to be able to resize only one track at a time (height wise). Now when I try to resize a track (height wise) all of the tracks are resized.

Is there a way to revert to the previous way I was doing things? Revert to default settings without messing up my volume, panning, etc.? Thanks for any help on this.

Sounds like you've turned on Auto Track Zoom (Shift-Z turns it on and off)

noynekker, thanks a lot. That was it. Thought I had probably hit a key combination and even tried shift-Z, I thought, but it worked this time.

One more question. My piano roll, when I opened it before, was at the bottom. Now when I open it, it's at the top. Know how to get it back to the bottom. Thanks.

To get the Piano Roll back to the multi-dock, just drag the window downward until you see blue, that will park it there.
Then use - - -> D and Shift-D to resize the multi-dock.

Clicking 'N' is used to turn Snap to Grid on/off, not open automation lanes

noynekker, thanks. you've been a big help. There's a menu option on the piano roll window to dock it at the bottom.

Bristol, in track view, on each track to the far left, down below clips, volume, pan, gain, master, etc. there's a symbol that looks like an uppercase N to me. That's what I'm referring to. And it opens the automation lane.
