Wait a minute, didn't X3 come out in 2013? Hmm...
Although, to be fair, the 30-day trial version of X3 did finally come out in 2014.
Anyway, still plenty of 2014 left, Cakewalk, so don't get cocky yet!
In reality, my review was published in November last year. So, the award was for 2013 (audiofanzine).
The english version of my review was published a few days ago, but X3 is sooo good than the award is still running for 2014 ;)
Well, I hope it was clear that I was joking, as I really don't take such "awards" very seriously.
That said, it's a quite well done and helpful review (of X3b) with some interesting suggestions for further enhancements, even if I take no account of the "award".

With all due respect, shouldn't it be
"Best Product of 2014 - * at least so far *"
with some 11 months & one week to go?
I mean how do you decide on something this early on in the year without waiting it out until Dec. 31 after all the entries have been submitted, accounted for & equally considered?

A reward is not an absolute truth. It's mainly there to demonstrate a quality/quantity/price ratio superior to others. 2013 or 2014, it's not important; Sonar is probably the best Daw of the moment. This, is the most important.
