Hi all I recently purchased Sonar X3 Studio, and was wondering whether there was any way of removing virtual instruments bundled with Sonar X3 without having to uninstall and re-install Sonar X3 again. As I already have a whole load of third party virtual instrument by IK Multimedia and Native Instruments, and have no need for some of the virtual instruments in Sonar X3, especially Cakewalk Sound Center and Dimension LE as I already have Dimension Pro and Rapture...If anyone could help me with this matter I would much appreciate it!

Thank you

Just navigate to the VST folders and delete the folders for the ones you don't want.

Honestly, the dll files for those are small. The only (potentially) BIG sample library is Dimension Pro (which you use I assume based on the OP).

If "seeing" these is what is bothering you, I would go to Utilities->Cakewalk Plug-In Manager, click on the "VSTi" in the left, highlight the ones you do not want on the right, and then the "Exclude Plug-In" in the lower left. It won't "uninstall them" but uninstalling is not going to buy you much anyway, FWIW.

Edit: As verification of size for CWSC you can check the path C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Vstplugins\Cakewalk Sound Center\
(the Modules subdirectory has the banks in it for a default install, depending on any expansion packs, that can have size to it)
